Chinese – Intermediate 3

Course structure and goals
Students practice the use of the new vocabulary and use role-playing to conduct dialogs in order to memorize many of the expressions and nuances used by native Chinese speakers. As with previous courses, Intermediate C increases the scope of vocabulary and improves the students’ use of grammatical structures. Homework assignments are given every week, as well as a list of new words learnt in class. Course texts are written in Pinyin. The class meets once a week and students are required to complete homework assignments sent by the teacher after each lesson.
This course is forAdult students (over the age of 17) who have completed Levels A and B and can conduct a basic conversation in common Chinese.
Spoken Chinese Level 5: 15 weeks.
Spoken Chinese Level 6: 15 weeks.
At the end of the course the student will
|Be able to communicate in Chinese in a more confident and fluent way, on a larger variety of topics.|
|Be able to use the Chinese language in an appropriate way in various unique Chinese cultural situations.|
|Have acquired a solid foundation for the Business Chinese stream of eTeacherChinese.com.|
